Instructions: 

As interpreters of media, it's important we think critically about information and whether or not we can trust the source, or author of the media to be telling the truth. Click the following link and follow the instructions to read the five short articles that are listed. As you go through them, simply think to yourself whether they are real, or fake.

After you've read through the articles, you can check the bottom of the page to see how many you knew correctly. Sometimes the results can be surprising!

Next, complete the following short quiz to see how well you can tell the difference between real and fake news. After you choose your response, the corresponding image will tell you whether you are correct or not, and will also give an explanation.
